About the Role
Traditional Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Caregivers / Personal Care Aides (PCA). In this role, you will provide non-medical support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and safety within their homes.
Caregivers may serve seniors and individuals with varying levels of care needs, including those with developmental disabilities and those requiring memory support (Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia).
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare meals and assist with basic nutritional needs as directed
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Follow individualized care plans and agency guidelines
- Observe and report changes in client condition or concerns to agency leadership
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Provide care in a manner that promotes dignity, privacy, and safety
Scheduling
We offer a variety of scheduling opportunities, including day, evening, weekday, and weekend assignments. Caregivers are encouraged to share their availability and preferences, and assignments are made based on client needs and compatibility.
This position can accommodate individuals seeking part-time hours or recurring assignments. Once assigned to a client, caregivers are expected to follow the established schedule.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred (home care, assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home setting
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to caregiving
- Ability to assist with transfers or mobility support as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Ability to pass background screening and complete required onboarding requirements
Position Details:

Because clients rely on consistent, scheduled support for their daily care needs, caregivers must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in maintaining assigned schedules.
